About me
It all began 30 years ago, my mom started a Wedding Decorating company called Dipietro Decor. She later sold the company and did numerous side projects. The company did really well but that’s not what I remember about it. I remember how much fun I always had helping her. She was always onto a new project, whether it was painting, drawing, baking, making flower arrangements, sewing curtains, building headboards, my mom did it all!
She passed away in May 2023. She was battling cancer for the third time and ended up in the ICU because of an AVM, a type of brain aneurysm. She was in the hospital for 9 months. I watched my mom endure so many setbacks, so much pain, unending disappointment. I cried everyday wishing I could save her. Wishing I could go back to when I had her healthy and happy sitting across from me in my living room. We did everything together and the moment she passed I felt myself shatter.
I have to live with this pain now and move forward for my family. She always wanted me to pursue art in some way. It was her passion and she could see it the same in me. I decided to start this company just as she did 30 years ago. With no paper credentials but the passion in my heart. I want to make people smile through my work and continue my mom’s legacy.
